Seven2 Airidium 194 Paddle - I had wanted a light but durable paddle for surfing and occasional ww....i am a lover of the funky and different-when i first saw the paddle i thought it looked neat.... and having a background in kite designs and repair i know the characteristics of carbon-so i knew that e shaft would flex a little..... but that is in your advantage..... gives an extra kick at the end of a stroke ....gives a little upwards bounce at the end of a roll or brace.... the little pockets of air on the back of the blades help to keep the blades higher in the water.... the grips: funny looking on a smaller shaft... they warm up nicely for colder paddles...ergonomic like a bent shaft without the extra $$$$.....very nice and comfy... i have had zero problems with this paddle.... ~  Rob, RI, USA
