Hey kevin, thanks for the feedback on that!! I had very specific talks with the drivers that morning regarding the rain slicked roads and conditions, and Tim is a professional bus and van driver with a solid track record for several companies in the area. Nonetheless, safety and security is my HIGHEST priority with something like the shuttle service and I really appreciate the feedback that you gave me here! I can't be out there all the time, although I have driven with this guy to ascertain his skills myself before I hired him. Needless to say I will discuss teh gravity of it and your comments with him, and I will be out with him again to make sure that he is being very cautious out there. So far I had had very good reports on him and the other drivers, so hopefully this is a one time thing. I will also check into the settings on the automatic trailer brakes. They may need to be adjusted for the slicker roads, and that may have contributed a bit to the feeeling you described of the trailer fishtailing. It has it's own automatic brakes, and they engage when the driver brakes, but they need to be adjusted periocically as well. Since we had not had the wet pavement condtions to test on, it may be that a little less braking on the trailer adjustment is in order.
