How is Anchorage?
Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada is home to the Pan Am pool, which hosts a paddling night once a week from November till May. Though whitewater hasn't been at the top of my list of things to do, I must admit that a playboat in a pool it total fun! If you have the opportunity and especially if you have a roll, it would be great fun and an excellent chance to keep paddling over the winter if such facilities are present up there.
Hi Nayeli, thanks for connecting with me. I live in Clinton, NJ can't wait for the winters to be over and get back into kayaking in our Round Valley Reservoir.
Thank you for adding me to your list. Here in Nothern CA I paddle all year long. This coming summer my grandaughter and I will be traveling to AK to paddle the PW Sound, if we can find an outfitter that has openings or is taking clients in 2010.
What a great place to live, AK is a sportsman's and women's paradise.
Happy paddling.
What a wonderful place to be from. :-) I was going to run the Midnight Sun marathon a couple of years ago, but then had a change of plans. It must be amazing to kayak in Alaska. Florida is fun too.

Thanks for adding me. I thought it was too cold to kayak. I have just been waiting for spring watching the sales adds for deals. Stay warm up there.
