We fish Phillpot Lake outside Martinsville VA all the time. Plenty of good action once you learn the good spots.

I have always just sat on mine like a horse and slipped in from the back. I have seen people place their kayak right at the edge of the water, parallel to the shore line and slightly rolled over tow…

Thanks for the welcome, Long live kayaking ;)
Thanks for the welcome.
Thank You for welcoming me to the site. I'm looking forward to being a part of it. Maybe even get lucky and meet some folks from the Southeastern part of Pa. I'm mostly a day kayaker on rivers and lakes. This past summer was really my first full summer with my yak. Making alot of plans to gettin out for multi day camping trips. Getting into Kayaking was one of the best things I could have done. Can't imagine my life without my kayak...anyway...Hello all!!...and Happy New Year!!!
Thank you for the welcome. I am located near Wilmington. My goal is to meet other kayalers that fish from their yaks. I have had kayaks for serveral years but fishing from them is a new venture for me. Any useful tips are appreciated. Anyone that would like to meet and go paddling shoot me a line and lets go.
thanks
