Hey Buck, Since you posted the responce to my question about touring on the coast I have been able to learn a lot and paddle a bunch. I just finished a trip to menocino a few weeks ago with the Penguin Paddlers kayak club out of Redding and Rocklin. We camped at Van Dam state park and paddled a few of the rivers as well as all around in the Sea Caves. My wife and I spent about 8 days exploring. Truly a wonderful place. I now live on the Delta and I am hoping to do a 10 day tour from Stockton all the way through the Golden Gate this fall. I find myself truly captivated by the sport. Thanks for your input. If you ever would like to paddle give me a shout. Also if you sea kayak you should check out the Penguin Paddlers store. truley a sea kayakers paridise.

Later Dan
