Howdy Mark! By far the best shipping method for kayaks that I have found, based on both pricing and service is through Forward Air. They are a truck shipping company that has terminals in most states and large metro areas. Your actual price for your boats is likely to be in the $125-$175 per boat range, based on my past experience. It does depend on the actual dimensions of your packaged boat, as well as the price of fuel at the time.
