kayaking.com are hosting a new style of surf paddling contests.
This is your chance to show your best paddling from 2006. It's simple, find a camera person, find a wave, and show us your best...send it in by February 20, 2007. All
winners will have prizes for the paddler and the Camera Person. The best rides, including all winners, will be included in a Movie available around March 2007.

Here's What You Could Win!
-
Although the primary judging criteria is your paddling skill, video must be clear enough that we can see you to judge you. Better video quality will be more likely
to be included in the DVD.
-
Rides will be judged, very generally, on impressiveness. Take off deep, carve turns, go top to bottem, pull off cool moves, etc.
-
Judges will be mostly surf kayakers, although we will include a few board surfers for variety.
-
-
Questions sent in will be answered and posted below, so check back for rule clarifications.
-
Our idea was to keep this simple, inexpensive, fun and really allow people to showcase what they are doing in a manner more far reaching than a traditional contest.
